Hello — welcome to our field notes

A short intro to what this space will be. Notes on software, agriculture, enterprise systems, and the odd corners in between.

Welcome to the Parth Infotech field notes.

We’ve been building software in Maharashtra for twenty-five years. In that time we’ve worked with agricultural universities, defence research organisations, national sports bodies, US enterprises, elevator manufacturers, and a long tail of mid-sized businesses that just needed something to work.

This blog exists so we can share things we’ve learned along the way — without dressing them up.

What you can expect

  • Notes on projects. Case-study fragments and postmortems that a full case study wouldn’t fit. Sometimes the interesting part of a project is the moment before it started, or the year after it shipped.
  • Engineering perspectives. How we think about SAP rollouts, precision-irrigation architectures, offline-first mobile design, government contract delivery, and the occasional migration nightmare.
  • Agriculture & tech. Two decades of building for MPKV research stations have given us opinions about digital farming that don’t fit anywhere else. This is where they go.
  • Business shape. Twenty-five years is long enough to have thoughts about how software services firms should be organised. We’ll write some of them down.

What you should not expect

  • SEO-optimised listicles.
  • “Top 10 trends” posts written by nobody in particular.
  • Announcements dressed up as articles.

We write when we have something to say. If that’s once a month, that’s once a month.

If you’d like to reach us with questions or corrections, email us.
